How to upgrade AMD W4100 driver in Windows10 Home edition environment.

After nearly 2 years of graphic driver installation, I faced a strange issue suddenly.  AMD app threw a error message something of this sort.

The fix provided there did not help. I started seeing error in the below image. That is when I decided to upgrade the graphics driver.

Updating graphics driver and associated app is a tricky proposition in windows 10 and more so in Windows10 Home edition.

If there is a mis match between what the Windows 10 automatic update provides and what you need to use from manufacturer, then it becomes really tricky.

Following are the steps that I followed.

Pre-Installation Steps:
===============
1: Go through the video for general understanding of the steps

2: Note the graphics driver details by running dxdiag
3. Download the correct driver from AMD site.
4. Download  AMD cleanup utility mentioned in https://www.amd.com/en/support/kb/faq/gpu-601  for removing previous installed AMD graphics driver.
5. Steps to disable automatic driver updates on Windows 10 -
https://www.windowscentral.com/how-disable-automatic-driver-updates-windows-10  --  Not sure if the steps work in case of windows 10 Home edition  Instead I used technique mentioned in the below link during installation - https://www.itprotoday.com/windows-10/stop-automatic-driver-updates-windows-10

 Installation Steps:
============
1. Update windows (if any pending, not by force i.,e not clicking check for updates)
2. Optional - (I also did not use Windows Deployment Image Servicing and Management (DISM) and System File Checker (SFC) tools as Administrator,  these are mentioned in  one of the references)
3. Boot windows in safemode (check the video in the reference)
4. Run AMD driver cleanup tool (Removes AMD drivers)
5. Use the cccleaner technique to remove all the AMD related registry entries.
6. Restart in Safemode
7. Use the step 6 in Pre-installation to prevent windows from automatic driver update.
8. Delete AMD folder (default location c:\amd)
9. Again Restart in Safemode (you would see the display in 640x480 size)
10. Stop the windows defender temporarily (Check the video in the references)
11. Install the driver by running the app in the admin mode.
12. Reboot in Normal mode (actually, during the installation of amd driver+associated app it self brings it back to the normal mode)
13.Undo the Step 6 in Pre-installation that prevents automatic driver.
